DevOps Engineer
Would you like to contribute to the well-being of patients, by creating an innovative micro-surgical robot? You could be part of our inspiring team, who is dedicated to innovating surgery by developing a micro-surgical robot device.
At Microsure in Eindhoven, we are developing a new first-of-a-kind microsurgery robot. By reducing the tremor and scaling down the movements of the surgeon, we can for example (re)connect extremely small blood and lymphatic vessels.
Our Software department develops high quality medical device software and tests. We implement the principles of Ci/Cd and rely on SCRUM to organize our work and are well organized and structured. This development environment and tools are essential for our team's success and we are continuously improving it.
Furthermore, we are entering a phase where ramping up for production of our microsurgery robot becomes key. Experience in preparing software and production images for manufacturing is required.
You will be part of the Software Department and will working closely with our Software Engineers and can rely on support from our IT Department
Manage Ci/Cd (Jenkins) on-prem solutions, including tools responsible for automated testing and static code analysis
Maintain and make updates to the Software Development VMs (Ubuntu) when new wishes or software updates are available
Manage the in-house test setups, including those attached to our build systems
Improve our existing Ci/Cd environment, whereby you can innovate and bring in your own ideas
Create the Linux image that will be installed on medical robot during manufacturing
Act as technical expert to our manufacturing partner, who installs the image and our software on manufactured units
Manage git repositories
Support the Software Release process
Documenting your work and changes, as required for medical device regulations. We will be indicating what kind of documentation we expect from you. Familiarly with the medical device standards is appreciated, but not required.
You are familiar with build systems, and in particular Jenkins, and have at least several years of experience in configuring and maintaining it (Controller and Agents).
You've worked in an environment where software engineers work in a shared virtual machine or container, and actively maintained and updated that environment
You are experienced with Linux production images, and have worked before in an environment where images were used in manufacturing
You have worked with Git, preferably Bitbucket

32-40 hours per week
Flexibility in working hours and work location (hybrid). Full remote working is not possible.
